Backed by thousands of onshore installations, Qnergy’s proven, autonomous Stirling engine is now available in an explosion proof design.

IECEx and ATEX certified, the PowerGen Ex provides up to 4,000 watts of prime or backup power in a compact footprint engineered with reliability in mind.

At the core of the PowerGen is Ex is Qnergy’s Free Piston Stirling Engine; an external combustion engine manufactured without rotating parts or the need for lubrication. With a simple once per year annual maintenance requirement, built in redundancies, and no oil replenishment needs, the system minimizes costly service visits while maximizing uptime.
